Colintraive Heritage Centre is a free to visit museum located in the village of Colintraive on the Cowal Peninsula Scotland. It celebrates and shares the local history and heritage of the rural village of Colintraive in Argyll Scotland. After challenging work by the community, the centre opened on May 9th, 2009.
Volunteers run and manage the centre which is part of the Colintraive Village Hall Scio.
The Colintraive Heritage Centre closed in winter. It reopened in May 2026.
Locals, visitors from Scotland and across the globe value the centre and often describe it as a “hidden gem.” We hope you will visit our community and enjoy reading our story online.
We are grateful to the following for their grants towards the cost of the building conversion, the displays and murals.
